Home Inspection for the Buyer
The Buyer’s Home Inspection adheres to ASHI’s strict Standards of Practice (SOP). The property inspection process is non-invasive, and we welcome both the buyer and seller to attend and ask questions. If they are visible and accessible to the inspector, each of the following areas of the home will be thoroughly inspected for damage and defects:
- Structural System
- Exterior
- Roof System
- Plumbing System
- Electrical System
- Heating System
- Air Conditioning Systems
- Interior
- Insulation and Ventilation
- Fireplaces and Solid Fuel Burning Appliances

Pre-Listing Home Inspection for the Seller
A home inspection can be just as beneficial for the seller as for the buyer. During a Seller’s Pre-Listing Inspection, the home inspector completes the inspection before it gets put on the market. By taking the initiative to do this ahead of time, the sellers allow themselves time to repair and upgrade the home. This can make the home more appealing a potential buyer and may increase its value. Sample Seller’s Pre-Listing Home Inspection

New Construction Inspection
Many people think a newly built home will be free of defects and move-in ready, however, this is often not the case. New homes can be full of irregularities, including missing, damaged, and unfinished items. Many things may be found incomplete or incorrectly installed, which is why it’s always a good idea to have a professional building inspection of your home so you can bring these items to the attention of your builder before you move in. Radon Testing
Radon is a toxic gas which is linked to lung cancer and other dangerous health conditions. This gas is prominent in the Louisville area and is impossible to detect without a professional because it is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. We offer radon inspections with our state-of-the-art equipment so that you can keep yourself and your family safe in your new home. Learn more about radon here or view a sample radon test report

Termite Inspection
Termites can be a serious threat to the structure of your home. We offer Termite Inspections through a licensed third party, so that you can find out if there is a termite problem or if there is termite damage from a previous infestation. Sample WDO inspection report
