Home Inspectors – What You Need to Know
Many home inspectors are recommended by your real estate agent because your real estate agent knows they are “safe” inspectors. They may find a few things needing fixed, but no “Deal Breakers”. The agent doesn’t want to lose out on his/her paycheck. Most home inspectors really have little to no home construction or building experience, they took some classes and bought a few gismo tools and are now are ready to tell you all about that dream home of yours. Did you know most home inspectors use their phones to write the report? Once they’ve walked through the house they will hit a few buttons, send the report to you then move on to the next inspection for the day.
Why I’m different
I have been in remodeling and construction for most of my adult life. The past 20 years in commercial construction inspection and the last five as a residential home inspector. As your home inspector, I won’t be looking for nicks and scratches, I’ll look for the real “meat and potato” issues. The big stuff that can cause you great expense down the road. This is the way you get the most from your home inspection. Schedule an appointment with us today.
